After a few months of silence, we are pleased to announce that we decided to release the third beta version of Automne 4.2.

We strongly encourage you to download and test this build to help us hunt potential bugs.

Automne 4.1.3 mainly fixes bugs submitted via our bugtracker and add few minor changes.

Here's a quicklist of some of the significants improvements included :

• Add website specific 403 and 404 pages in site properties,
• Add timestamp var to polymod date fields in order to compare dates more easily for instance,
• Add a check on .htaccess files support,
• Add a check on CLI configuration and extensions,
• Refactor daily routine to add a check on server parameter page,
• Add logs for all actions done on polymod objects,
• Access user activity log from user properties,
• Improved security on passwords storage.

As usual, just download and apply the patch to upgrade from previous version.

Next version will be stamped 4.2 and will add some major improvements. Stay tuned.

This version is essentially a maintenance and security release. It fixes a number of bugs detected on version 4.1.0 and security problems mainly related to a high vulnerability discovery.

This update is strongly recommended.

This update brings a little extra feature : a new button to publish or unpublish pages or Polymod elements subject to validation.

Compared to the roadmap, features originally planned for version 4.1.1 are pushed to version 4.1.2.

The final version of Automne 4.1  is finally available today. After months of development and weeks of beta testing we are pleased to announce the release of this highly anticipated release of Automne.

Today we release the second beta version of Automne 4.1.

This version brings no new functionality compared to the previous beta version but it fixes many bugs. Some of them are critical. We encourage you to update or download this version.

Another post concerning the new features of version 4.1 of Automne, still under development. Today we will focus on image management in the modules. New options will allow more flexibility in layouts and control over visual guidelines. We also added new features in order to make your life easier.

We continue our tour of upcoming features in Automne 4.1. We recently looked at the page and website codenames. Today I am going show you how to simply use the different pages and website properties in your templates thanks to two brand new XML tags: <atm-website> et <atm-page>.

Automne 4.1 will be a major version, including import/export function for modules and data. We will also add language management in templates. We’re diligently finalizing the last touches. There are other nice features coming soon in Automne 4.1 that I would like to give you a quick preview. Let’s begin this series of posts with what we call “page codenames”.
